The Ladies Room

Beautiful skin is a result of a beauty skin care regime, and this is a process that can be cultivated as a daily habit. A part of the daily routine can include the elements of a beauty skin care plan. Radiant, youthful looking skin is possible each and every day with the right combination of products, a healthy lifestyle, a steady diet rich in fresh and natural food, and plenty of rest. Skin cells are able to restore and refresh themselves when they are well taken care of. Skin maintenance is an ongoing process that can enhance the skin’s ability to produce fresh skin cells on a regular basis. When this is damaged severely or resistance is lowered, it may lead to premature aging, wrinkles, and dull complexions.

The Beauty Skin Care Regime

A beauty skin care regime will be comprised of a few key essentials and steps in a consistent program. These will include regular:

  • Cleansing
  • Toning
  • Buffing
  • Moisturizing
  • Exfoliation
  • Clear makeup application

Cleansers

Cleansing is an essential part of any skin care program, and can occur twice daily. Cleansers can vary from foaming to lotion or cream cleansers, and will depend largely on skin type and condition. Mediated cleansers are often used for many skin disorders or after intensive treatments. Common ingredients for potent and effective cleansers include lemon or aloe bases, infusions of Vitamin C, lavender, and rose, and menthol-based cleansers for deeper cleaning.

Toners

Toning helps to refresh and revitalize the skin, and will remove any buildup or toxins that the cleanser may not have removed or picked up. Toners can vary in strength, and may be alcohol-based. These will take away any moisture, so finding the right cleanser for skin type is essential. Dryer skin may require less toner, and there are many toners available for sensitive skin types that will not strip away moisture from the top layer so severely. Other toners may help increase moisture with vitamin-rich ingredients.

Buffers

Skin buffers can remove dead skin cells lightly, in between exfoliating treatments. Buffing agents may include a washcloth, firm sponge, or facial buff block. These can help smooth out an uneven complexion over time, and will remove dirt and grime at the same time. Buffers can be harsh on sensitive skin, so light buffing may be a better option for light and sensitive skin-types.

Moisturizers

Moisturizing is an essential part of beauty skin care, and the right moisturizer for each skin type will ensure that skin looks vibrant, healthy, and attractive on a regular basis. Dry skin can lead to skin discomfort, irritation, and a variety of skin disorders. Applying the right moisturizers can help skin stay soft, smooth, and supple on a regular basis, as well as help to restore skin from any external damage or climate changes.

Exfoliation

Weekly or biweekly exfoliation is an excellent way to enhance and revitalize skin naturally. Exfoliation not only removes dirt and debris from the skin’s surface, but can also smooth out any lines and refresh the top layer of the skin by boosting circulation. Common exfoliating agents include oatmeal, seed granules, and some types of sand and mud that do not clog pores. After exfoliation, the pores are opened so a generous application of moisturizer is recommended.

Clean Makeup

Wearing makeup on a regular basis has many benefits when it is applied properly. Makeup can provide a protective barrier between the skin and the environment, and the right makeup for the skin will depend on skin type, climate, and general skin sensitivities. Chemical-based makeup will generally clog pores and leave skin with an unhealthy shine. Natural and organic makeup lines can enhance skin, and even nourish it further with fresh ingredients, vitamins, and minerals. Applying makeup with clean applicators is essential to prevent bacteria and infection from building up in the skin’s pores, and leaving it with a healthy glow instead.

Beauty Skin Care and Diet

Apart from the external factors and influences for maintaining healthy skin, diet and internal balance can play a vital role. Hormonal changes can play a significant role in how the skin reacts and responds to various elements. Any imbalances will show up on the skin in the form of redness, dry skin, blotchy skin, or a dull complexion. In addition, the diet can play a vital role in how the skin appears. Diets that are rich in wholesome, natural foods will help the cells in the body grow and maintain themselves. Water is essential to all of the functions of the body, and can maintain the moisture level of natural skin. A diet that includes a variety of foods is essential for overall health. Specific foods and vitamins that affect the skin include:

? Fish oil, fatty fish, and Omega 3 supplements for essential fatty acids that can give skin a youthful appearance
? Vitamin C for balanced skin. This is found in many citrus fruits and as a supplement in juice
? Natural nuts and seeds for Vitamin B, Vitamin K, and natural fats
? Leafy green vegetables and freshly squeezed juice for antioxidant properties

I think you should definitely put some chapstick in the basket its a girls best friend on the slopes, sunscreen, moisturizer, waterproof mascara. Some mini handwarmers & a cute bandanna & maybe even a mini handheld massager. You could also put some warm socks & sunglasses/goggles.

If this spots have come recently, you can try using cucumber and papaya home made packs. Just make a smooth pulp of ripe papaya or cucumber and apply on your face. They have lot of moisture and hence will leave your skin soft and glowing. The spots will also lighten by repetitive usage . You can also try honey mixed with ripe banana to lighten the spots. Leave the face pack for at least 30 minutes to 45 minutes till you are comfortable.

I wash my face morning and evening with Biore facial cleanser and a wash cloth. Before bed, I apply a good moisterizer that contains vitamins and encourages cell repair. There is no need to spend alot of money. Biore costs less than $6 at Wal-Mart. Moisterizer costs around $15 for Mary Kay or Olay and it lasts a few months.

Its a fabulous product! I have two other friends who tried it and they are hooked as well, I think that you're going to love it.

I haven't tried the other products you mention… my other fave is Hydroderm. I alternate between the two lines. I also use a more powerful sun block since I live in the southwest.

Edit: I've been exploring skin care routines for about five years now, when my skin was showing pretty significant environmental damage, and I'm happy to say after having a major laser peel and totally reforming my skin care regime I look years younger. The preventative actions that you are taking now are awesome.

I have tried many of the products you can buy at the drugstore. None of the restorative products leave your skin looking as good as Hydroderm and Meaningful Beauty in the short and long term. My skin seems to absorb those products more efficiently.

A lot of girls I talk to start out as freelance make-up artists or salon or spa receptionist. You get to hear and see a lot of the industry. Good luck! Also, you may want to report the guy who keeps posting his URL or web-site. It's totally spam. I've seen this in other questions tonight.

I really would! I love natural cosmetics. When you use them you feel as if someone cares about how you look, therefore how you feel. You think that if someone cares to make these products naturally and organically then they must care about you. I know that sounds strange…

I LOVE natural beauty products! If I could, I'd buy nothing but them! If you're thinking of starting up a business then I'd recommend that you do :) x

Probably right here is a good place to start. Also, maybe at your local "Whole Foods" store you might want to put up some ads for free. And health shows that they hold once a year in every city.
